Taken in Winchester Cathederals Crypt, unfortunately it wasn't flooded at the time (when the crypt is flooded you get a wonderful reflection of the ceiling on the water etc, very atmospheric) but the picture still turned out OK
Details:
Anthony Gormley's "Sound II" (apparently made using an actual cast of his body)
That's...BEAUTIFUL. Please go into further detail with the whole flooding thing, as I don't know what this is. All I know is I'm going to fav the picture because it's pretty.
Well, I'm not sure why exactly but the crypt normally floods every winter, must be something to do with where it was built as I recall they had to employ a diver in 1905 to underpin it due to waterlogging or something, he had to work up to six hours a day, often in 20ft (6m) of water, and in total darkness for six years.
Anyway here's a link to a picture of it flooded, have a look and you'll see what I mean [link]

Oh I see! Wow, that's beautiful flooded like that. But swimming around in a dark flooded crypt doesn't sound like an ideal job. Maybe he got used to it after six years. Anyway, this is still a beautiful photo.
very cool ... super moody ... i know, it's a crypt, but still, very nicely captured
i think the fact that he's standing there doing something as mundane as reading a book seems kinda spooky, like he was just stood there reading, & suddenly ... turned to bronze O_O
i guess this way he gets to read in his favourite spot without getting bad joints from standing ankle-deep in water all the time lol
